The Department of Music at Royal Holloway was rated the highest UK Music Department in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise.
Applications are invited for a Lectureship in Music, specialising in any area or areas of historical musicology and/or musical theory and analysis. The post is tenable from 1 September 2009 or as soon as possible thereafter. You will have a record of academic achievement in research and will be expected to play a full part in the delivery of the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; to engage in research, publication and other research-related activities; and to participate fully in the administration of the Department.
