Join keynote speaker David Ritz, scholars and authors James Austin, Stanley Crouch, Fredara Hadley, Tammy Kernodle, and Guthrie P. Ramsey Jr., as well as musicians who were members of Charles’s band, including Marcus Belgrave (trumpet), John Bryant (drums), Leroy Cooper (former head of the Ray Charles Orchestra), and Dr. Mable John (former Raelette and Charles’s pastor). Ray Charles Enterprises is collaborating with the CBMR to create a small exhibit of select Charles memorabilia.
